Coaching is not medical, psychological, psychiatric, financial, or legal advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a licensed physician, therapist, financial advisor, or attorney.

Nothing said or shared through the Service — by Coach G, by any guest, or by any other participant — should be understood as a professional recommendation specific to your situation. If you're facing a medical, mental health, financial, or legal decision, consult a licensed professional in that field.

2. Coach G's Personal Story

Coach G shares his own health history — including a 2007 terminal diagnosis, an 18-month wait for a transplant, and a 2013 cardiac arrest and coma — as his own lived experience. It is shared as personal testimony, not as a medical claim, a guarantee, or a representation that any other person will have similar results, medical outcomes, or experiences from using the Service or from coaching generally.

3. Guest Stories Reflect Individual Experience

Some episodes feature guests sharing their own stories, including difficult or sensitive material — addiction and recovery, legal consequences, relationship breakdown, and other personal history. Each guest's story reflects that individual's own experience and choices. It is not medical, psychological, or legal advice, and it is not a representation that another person facing a similar situation will have a similar outcome.

4. No Guarantee of Results

Coaching outcomes depend on many factors specific to each person, including effort, circumstances, and factors outside anyone's control. WATCH. CHANGE. and Coach G make no guarantee, warranty, or promise — express or implied — about the results any member will achieve through the Service.

5. If You're Experiencing a Crisis

6. Coaching Is Not a Licensed Profession

Life and business coaching — including the coaching Coach G provides — is not a licensed or government-regulated profession in the United States or in most other countries. No state currently requires a coach to hold a license, certification, or degree to practice. Coach G's guidance draws on his own personal and professional experience as an entrepreneur, consultant, and coach. It is not a substitute for the services of a licensed therapist, counselor, physician, financial advisor, or attorney — professions that are subject to licensing requirements coaching is not.

7. Relationship to Our Other Policies

This Disclaimer works alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Guests appearing in a Session also sign a separate Guest Media Release governing the specific terms of their appearance.

Note for Marlon/attorney: Sections 5 and 6 now reflect verified, current information rather than a placeholder or a generic claim — Crisis Text Line's 741741 service was confirmed active as of 2026, and coaching's unlicensed status in the U.S. was confirmed as still accurate (no state currently requires a license, certification, or degree for general life/business coaching). One thing still worth a quick attorney look: whether any niche-specific rule could apply given the range of topics covered (e.g., some states carve out specific rules around health, nutrition, or financial coaching) — general life/business coaching appears clearly unregulated, but attorney judgment is the right call on whether anything here edges into a more specifically-regulated lane.
